(212) 271-3314

Mr. Dauti immigrated to the United States in 1999 and in less than a year after arriving in the US – at the age of 24 – he was one of the youngest individuals to pass the NYS Bar Exam and become a lawyer. Having personally experienced the process of immigration, Mr. Dauti feels a special connection with the people who choose to or have to immigrate to the United States. Throughout his career, he has successfully represented numerous immigrants injured at construction accidents, car accidents and premises accidents.

Mr. Dauti founded The Dauti Law Firm, P.C. in 2005, a law firm which focuses on personal injury actions. Mr. Dauti has secured – via verdict and/or settlement – some of the highest awards in New York. Every year he is featured on NY Law Journal/Verdict Search’s Publication of Top Settlements/Verdicts with million and/or multi-million awards. Some of his court victories have been widely reported by the Press. In 2009, one of his court victories was featured at the front-page of New York Law Journal under the title “Jury May Consider Immigrant’s Status in Damages”. The case was particularly interesting because Mr. Dauti was able to secure a seven-figure verdict for his client who was subject to imminent deportation at the time of a work-related accident. This was the first time that a New York State Jury and Judge were required to render a verdict on a civil action where the plaintiff was already ordered deported at the time of accident and was still in immigration proceedings at the time of trial.  Gotham Gazette published an article titled “Political Intrigue in a Civil Action” written by the Honorable Emily Goodman, Judge of New York State Supreme Court, where she described the odyssey and drama that unfolded during the jury trial where Mr. Dauti was the lead attorney for the plaintiff.

Since 2009, Mr. Dauti has been featured – every year – on NYLJ/Verdict Search’s Top Verdict and Settlements with million/multimillion verdicts and/or settlements.

Mr. Dauti has been named as one of Top 100 Trial Lawyers (Civil) in the United States for by the National Trial Lawyers Organization. He is voted by his peers as a Rising Star and as a Super Lawyer.  He is selected as a life member of Million/Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Elite Lawyers of America, Top American Lawyers, Best Attorneys of America, etc.

Mr. Dauti is an attorney licensed to practice law in several parts of the World. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and he is also admitted to practice law before the United States of America Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Additionally, he is a duly licensed attorney-at-law law in Albania, and he is a duly licensed Solicitor of England and Wales (non-practicing). He is a graduate of University of Tirana Law School (JD equivalent), Central European University (LLM in International Business Law) and University of Connecticut School of Law (LLM in US Legal Studies).

He is a member of the editorial board of the series “Perspectives in Law, Business and Innovation,” published by Kyushu University (Japan).
